Towable Chipper Rental

SmartFeed System
With a patented SmartFeed system, the Vermeer BC1000 enhances operator productivity while limiting the strain imposed on key engine components. The unit has a feed-sensing control system that keeps track of engine RPM and automatically reverses or stops the feed roller when larger sized, hardwood material enters the feed.
Operator Safety
Along with the patented bottom feed stop bar on this towable chipper, it also has a four-position upper feed control bar that includes reverse/forward feed positions and dual stop positions. This feature installed above the feed table allows the operator to select the forward and reverse operations and stop the feed rollers. The operator can also easily reset the bottom feed stop bar through the dual resent/hold-to-run buttons.
Clutchless PTO
The belt drive engagement process combined with the throttle helps ensure engagement with the PTO is only possible while the engine is running at low idle/low RPM. Once the belt drive is completely engaged, the engine automatically throttles up to full RPM. This system protects the belt drive system from premature wear by preventing the cutter drum from high idle engagement.
EcoIdle Engine Control System
This Vermeer BC1000 chipper which is able to cut up to 12” diameter brush and limbs effectively has an EcoIdle engine control system that reduces the production of noise. It also uses less fuel when there are fewer interruptions in the feeding process.
